Silent Service of an Unknown Face

There are many kind people among us who get themselves involved in silent servicesservices but prefers to remain unknown. Here is the story of such a noble person. He is from Nasik. His name is RohitPillai. He was a Research student who took masters degree in Engineering from IIT,Mumbai.Usually such degree holders try to get highly paid jobs in India or fly abroad seeking higher salaries jobs But Rohit Pillai did not get engaged in any such job and instead concentrated on the Women froom Bangalore who spend their life ln cooking by inhaling enormous amount of smoke every day.He was pained to note that every time they inhaled smoke they coughed helplessly. This reminded him of the Slogan " Smoking is injurious to health" which the Government is using for public awareness by spending substantial amount of Money. RohitvPillaii knew that the smoke from cooking inhaled by by them was as bad as smoking 400 Cigerrettes in one hour.So shri Pillai used his talent in Engineering to make smokeless Stoves for them.Neither their husbands ever visited the kitchen to know the miseries of their women nor the Women knew it was a matter that deserved complaints to their husbands. Let this be an example for young talented scientists and technical degree holders to simultaneously serve society as a measure of Social service. 1. Whenever I walk from Peramangalam centre to Shnsvu road or back in the mornings or evenings I used to read publicity notices on electric posts announcing smokeless Stoves St cheap coast.
Now I learnt how much important service they were undertaking for the benefit of humanity
