The way Sachin&INDIA& Gambhir played towards the Fagend of Yesterday was an indication of a positive approach by the Indians.In the final 45 minutes both played with Patience& Caution without scoring a single run & sticking to the Wicket.That gesture from them was a welcome sign of what is in store for India in this crucial Test Match. This morning they continued with the Bat efficiently making quick runs.Unfortunately for himself& India Gambhir departed after a contribution of 83 valuable runs unlike his Delhi Partner who miserably failed with just 4 Runs by playing an Outswinger on .The same mistake he always used to commit particulary against Steyn of SA was repeated here too in this crucial Match in which his Motherland was in total trouble! Laxman joined his usual partner in scoring to prove his name worth of mentioning Very Very Special!and did well well until Lunch with a fair contribution of 40 quick runs.if this scoring Pair of Players continue at least until Tea,it is possible to to strenghthen the probability to positive percentage soon! Then the remaining batsmen Kohli,Dhoni,& Aswin with the able support,that should come under the circumstances,from Sahir,Sharma& Yadav could put India in a fair position by tea tomorrow(7 th Jan). A final score of 593or618 could be a score to put pressure on the Australians to force a Drawn match,if not an outright Win!!!
