Roller Compacted Concrete dam at Mullaperiyar

The decision of Shri.PKJoseph about constructing a Roller Compacted Concrete Dam at Mullaperiyar is a positive & bold decision of the concerned Minister of Keralater.He also. Said this would be the first of it' kind in India based on the advice from IITRourkke.He has also said this would be a dam Break Model between Mullaperiyar & Idukki District & would be the most economical Dam proposed to be constructed.
The strong Support from the Choef Minister to this Dam is a welcome move.
The New argument put forward to count the Heads of People of Tamil Origin to annex the District Idukki into Tamil Naadu is a foolish Proposal for the following resins
1)every State has it' own power to to venture into any construction in the State without interference from another State.this has been clearly guaranteed under the provisions of our Constitution.the Linguistic division of forming States with reference to the Language prevailing was taken long Ago & approved by everyone.this is how the Kerala State lost Kanyakumari district a beautiful district in many respects.the argument put forward now after illegally inducting Tamilians into the Idukki District with a selfish motive with a view to establishing claim at a later stage does not seem to be correct & Justfiable.No court of Law in the country could hold this as a valid reason for the present kind of Argument.
2) the people of Kerala has the right to live in Harmony without any fear of Loss of Life & Property besides right to independence guaranteed under the Constitution.3) the Government of Kerala has right & responsibility to safeguard the. Life 8property of the aerate.
4) the Govt of Kerala at any time did not say anything contrary to sharing water with Tamil Naadu.
5) the contract concluded by the King who ruled Kerala 100 years back with a State called MADRAS. Does not form the basis for any decision today
6) In fact the Govt has the rightful right even to cancel a contract of 100 years Back taking into consideration the political & economic conditions prevailing today.
7) the Magnanimity shown by Govt all these years not to cancel the old contract should be considered as a concession & Blessing afforded to Tamil Naadu as a result of this kind &excessive attitude should be appreciated without indulging into dispute by the Neighbours.
The very reason for all the confusion & upholding upper hand was exclusively due to the unwise argument put by the Advocate General of the state in court.
So in short the decision of the Minister for water resources & Irrigation Shri PK Joseph is a most welcome decision by him & all educated and wise people of the country should approve it in toto.
The minister has said that the decision would start 0
Put into practice by the 15 th of this Month.
The Bold decision should be encouraged by all as a wise decision
The life & Property of the people of Kerala residing in the area susceptible to threat by Nature & a possible Tragedy should be averted.
No one can predict anything in the hands of Nature & environment.the T- Sunami& tragedy in Japan recently are perfect examples to prove the Power of Nature & the inability of Human beings to stop such occurrences!!!
