Recently I had been to LAS VEGAS of USA with my Family members where I got an opportunity to have a caricature Drawing by an artist in a crowded street.There are many such artists in the streets of Las Vegas.The Caricature Drawing of me and my wife by the artist emerged as a Master Piece. When I saw the News Item in Deepika of 14/15 th of January 2012 ( Internet Edition ) in which Shri Yesuds was presented with a Dotted Caricature with pen by Mr.Suresh Annur of Payyannur in a function at Saraswathy Mandapam at Kollur Mookambika Temple,I could not resist temptation to write yet another Blog inspire of my promise not to make any more Blog for the time being. Mr.Suresh Is well known to be an expert in making such Caricature (Dooted caricature with pen is more difficult to make ) in Kerala. He is also a prominent person who had recognition in Children Festivals of Kerala. ROAD.& otherACCIDENTS-A Comedy Blog for Fun

In Kerala there had been enormous increase in Road Accidents during past one year in which many people were either killed or seriously injured. As these kind of Accidents are likely to be registered by Law & Order Authorities,a detailed study of these cases would appear to be necessary to find out who were responsible for such cases.in case it turns out to be fruitful in fixing the responsibility either individually or in a combined manner,the antecedents of such people should be looked into in order to ensure to which Group/ political wing such people belong to. In the event of responsibility is fixed& the exact reasons for it found out,it would be interesting to announce some kind of Awards on a regular yearly basis as is being done in the cases of School Youth Festivals! At least there won't be any rush from parents of the accused to secure awards as bis being done in the case of Youth Festival Awards called "THILAKAMS".Everyone in Kerala might have,at least by chance ,noticed that Parens of children take too much of interest for getting awards even by influencing the Judges who decide such Awards! This kind of activities in Schoolsn could deprive of the opportunities for students in securing high Marks in their academic subjects because their attention get diverted to these kind of activities than academic interest in their studies which is basically the Criterion for securing Good jobs in future & in building up their carrier. But even many Educated Parents forget this ,& incidentally&ironically become responsible for the drawback in the carrier of their own children. For Rich people it is OK.but what about the Poor & untrodden? Usually they become victims of society which do not provide them opportunity despite being Brilliant & Hard working. This lead them to joining Political Parties & undesirable organizations .Except in a few cases most of them fail there too,and their lives plunge in to Total agony!.Again ,these lead to crimes& Punishments as a routine!This it appears happening all over Kerala.Unless some organization come forward to put an end to these actvities & reintroduce just literary Essay,writing stories,poems Competitions where those who have real talent alone can succeed,the fate of children would appear to be hanging in balance! This naturally revealed two clear evidences to Assume the weakness of the Dam as under: On 4 th Jan2012 these examinations commenced ,In the two lots of Samples collected in the first& 2 nd attempts no or negligible SURKY elements were found This could be the most strengthening evidences in favour for the the views of the Kerala because: 1)In the first attempt in the supposed to be weaker part of the Dam no SURKY found means the SURKY Mixture put 100 years ago has been lost presumably flowing into the water in the Peryar River& AND 2)in spite of digging stronger which two hours to dig just one meter indicates the SURKY Mixture is Is totally missing in the Dam The TN has started the "SNAIL PACE" examination tactics to delay the further process The Dam has a length of 1200 feet.the examination is being carried out by devising in Taking into account the depth of the dam devising the depth into two categories of Of 475 feet&780 feet separately by digging Bore Holes of 55 mm. Until now no trace of SURKY or negligible element of SURKY could be found Evidently,this is enough to safely assume the Dam is weak beyond doubt. Thus all the arguments put forward by TN appear to be of irrelevant nature. Why still the examination is being prolonged is a matter needing examination. Unless Kerala informs the Apex court about the true findings earlier than the TN giv The TN gives their report,the matter for decision by the Court might be delayed again So may God Help His Own Country to use some favorable discretion for the Welfare Of the People around the Dam! UNNIKUTTAN has again considered as a topic for discussion in. Blog.He is learnt to have come back to his calmness as soon as the Main Controller returned to him on informing on phone about the the Loss of Temper by his Deputy controller.He was to take part in a Temple festival .the main Controller was just about boarding a bus to Nagarkovil when he was called back.the reason for the sudden departure of the main controller is unknown but to some extent obvious being in the The GOD'S Own country.but that is atopic which doesn't require any need to think about further.But leaving the Festival spot all of a sudden is a matter of concern for UNNIKUTTAN. Any how,the Veternary Doctor who examined UNNIKUTTAN has certified that there was nothing wrong with UNNIKUTTAN but just a matter of Loss of Temper. Perhaps the Doctor is unaware of the habit of UNNIKUTTAN & such youngsters who are always susceptible to loss of Temper & that, no sooner did the Main controller absents himself again ,than he could have the Loss of Temper again. Those who are thoroughly familiar with the youngsters could tell more about their habits.any time again he could become angry due to Loss of Temper & create problems for the people around him & even for those who are to maintain law & order including peace in the Temple area. The "WASTE REMOVAL" in TVM CIY Streets

In the media reports in the Internet Edition of Mathrubhumi this morning showed that High court of Kerala had constituted a Commission of Advocates to look into the most severe Problem of TVM city Viz WASTE REMOVAL based on a petition filed in the court by the Corporation of TVM.The problem of the City was regarding Removal of Waste Materialsls by the waste removal Control Board who were unable to carry out their Task as the Factory who were entrusted with the work until now had closed it .The closure was necessitated due to an Order given to the Factory by the Commitee Ruling the PANJAYATH of Valappilsala. The Division Bench headed by the Acting Chief Justice has directed the commission of Advocates of the Court to visit the Factory along with the officials of the Waste Removal Control Board to visit the Factoory on 11 th Jan2012 & submit a report to the Division Bench by 17 th January.as the factory stopped Waste Removal the residents,perhaps,started dumping wastes on Streets.this could have naturally caused Foul Smell in every Street of the city. The Corporation of TVM had also intimated the CM of the State & DGP also with a letter bringing out the situation necessitated the filing of Petition in the High Court. The further developments would be known after 17 th Jan when the High court is Expecting to receive a Report from the Commitee of advocates constituted by the Court.the Court has also directed Police to afford Protection to the committee visiting the Factory. However,the general Public& the Ruling Wing of the PANCHAYATH are determined,it looks ,in not allowing the waste from City to be brought to their Panjayath Area. In the circumstances,the judgement from Court could be of very interesting nature not merely to the Residents of TVM City but for entire Keralites all over Kerala& the World.The GOD'S Own Country is getting prominence in various matters like this and relating to the uncertainty of the Ruling in the State & Political developments which do not allow the Present Welfare minded CM to carry out his functions. Various issues like Mullaperyar,Smart City,Kochi Metro and Many more have started giving Nights without Sleep for the CM maily because of the non-co operation from the Opposition & their unwarranted Agitations to cover their lapses occured during the past 5 years when they ruled the State.the main function of the earlier Government was to ensure the strength of their Party by convening various meetings of their,local,Area,District,State & frequently their Headquarters meeting at Delhi. They could not get enough time even for this during the 5 years they had ruled ,let alone the Welfare of the People of the State & suffering of the Poor & untrodden. Thus the GOD'S Own Country is becoming very famous as far as the Keralites in India & Around the World. people have even started considering the State of Kerala as a Source of Entertainment for them by listening to enormous News of funny nature in the State. Mullapperyar Dam-How TN got upper hand initially?

The secret moves & discussions held with TN officials prior to the latest decision from Supreme Court committee favoring the concept of a New Dam are coming to Light gradually .these are unpardonable mistakes from concerned officials who should be made subjected to punishments for I'll natured favors done to one State alone .The facts involved are briefly as summarized below: DrC.D.Thatte,the Central Government representative & former Chairman of Central Water commission,who was a member of the SuperPower Commitee appointed by the ApexCourt had called a secret meeting in his residence at PUNE on 29 th April 2011.The representatives were invite whereas the lone member in the committee ShriN.K.Parameswaran Nair who is the Chairman of the Mullaperiyal Specil Cellwas neither invited nor any information about holding such a meeting made known to him.However,The Tamil Nadu chief Engineer Shri.R.Subramanian& Deputy Chief Engineer Shri V.Ramachandran were invited& in fact attended the Meeting.Dr.V.T.Desai,of Central Water Power Research Station also was invited & attended the Meeting. The first attempt to Subotage the Report of the IIT Rourkee to the effect any Earthquake beyond on the Rectorscale could become disastrous to the Mullaperiyar Dam was made in this meeting convened by Dr.Thatte.With a view to updating Supreme court about the safety of the Dam positively by the Central Water power Research Station,was arrived at this meeting in order to please the TN Representatives & the task of doing this was first entrusted to this commission for the first time. This Commission had not even 10% calibre of the IIT Rourkee to make any decision in the matter.The IIT Rourkee had clearly Stiudied before making a decision that any Earthquake with Epicentre within 300 KMs of Sorrounding Area of the Dam was disastrous to it.The threat from the Epicentre at 16Km distance called thekkadi-Kodaivannur Area was also found by the IIT Rourkee earlier.the deliberate attempt to Sabotage these reports was initially taken in this meeting convened by Dr.Thatte on 29 th April at his Pune Residence. Thus the certificate given to the Central water power commission was absurd & could be questioned based on the Expert report from IIT Rourkee.later on when the the super power committee when they had arrived at the Dam to assess the Safety of the Dam they already had hidden agenda with them which were not known to Shri Parameswaran Nair from Kerala.Perhaps,this could be the reason why Dr.Thatte had Said "Shut Up"to P. Lathika ,Chief Engineer of Kerala. Thereafter Dr.Thatte had yet another Secret meeting behind closed doors at " Aaranyanivas" with the representatives from Tamil Naadu on 24 th December2011. In the meantime,the 17 letters written by Shri.Parameswaran Nair to Dr. Thatte about examining the Dam without informing Kerala was converted into a book & submitted to the High PowerCommitee recently.this is ,perhaps,the reason the committee is considering the concept of New Dam as proposed by Kerala. Selection of Land& how to construct a Flat/villa at low cost

Everyone is interested in constructing a home of one's own nowadays.of course Earlier the Better!There are basically two aspects to look into before starting this New venture.they can be briefly summarized as under: 1) Selection of Land2)selection of a contractor or a Builder.both are of utmost importance particularly from the point of view from economy. SELECTION OF LAND: This is the most important part of the venture from the angle of what is known as " vasthu elements" Many people or rather all people believe in this concept even if he/ she does not believe in God or Similar super powers(super Power of Money & other prevailing Powers excluded).so here are the main aspects relating to the Land required to construct a Flat/ Villa.Primarily the difference between Flat & villa/ house is to be clearly understood. The flat means a common house where many people together entrust work to a Builder or join the project already undertaken by a Builder to make & deliver for which they do give maximum Publicity. Gil AO dependent house means a venture from a Private individual who is the owner & willing to entrust the work of constructing the villa/ house to a contractor or do it himself/ herself if he/ she is a person capable of constructing on his/her own. In either of the above two options,the selection of Land according to Vasthu ethics/ Theories is of paramount importance.this can be briefed as under: Ask one 4 year old Kid how many directions are there for Earth.Pat would come the reply" four". To the knowledge of his age & to some extent to his parents too the reply is correct.That is called common knowledge. But according to Vasthu Sastra there are 8 directions viz East,southeast,South,Southwest,West,Northwest,North& Northeast we can not Blame the 4 year old for his reply.Perhaps,he would learn more clearly when he goes to school more aboutDirections.There are ,however,brilliant& wise 4 year old kids knowing about 8 directions too! These 8 Directions according to Vasthusastra is called " Ashtadikkukal". The Land as per the V.Sastra,Should not be one with Round Shape.It should be either Square shaped or a Rectangular shaped.in cases where such lands are not cheaply available,shaping the Round Land into Square Shaped or Rectangular Shaped could be considered.in such cases the there is an added advantage of getting Extra land around the Squre shapedor rectangular shaped Land.but the area of Square or Rectangle would proportionately be reduced.so the advantage/ disadvantage is balanced well. The Land one acquires should not be originally a paddy field or where there are Rocks underneath the land one procured.These lands are neither suitable or auspicious for constructing a Villa or a Building for the purpose of Flats. After having acquired Land,the next step should be to test the land for further suitability.There are primitive & comparatively easier& convincing methods to conduct this Test.This is how it could be done.Dig a hole in the Land& take out a reasonable amount of soil out.Keep it aside for a few minutes.then again put the soil in full back to the Hole.if the hole is filled and still one has excess soil available with him/her then the land is considered as Ideal for for further exploration of the Flat/ Villa.if the soil you dogged out is not sufficient to fill the hole you had dogged earlier,then the Land is considered to be less Ideal.But no harm done if one proceeds further with the idea of construction as the Land can not be abandoned unless one can opt to use it for any kind of agricultural purposes. The next step according to Vasthu Sastra is to determine the" ," BRAHMASTHANAM"of the Land This ,however,is not a matter of any difficulty to determine though many people approach Astrolers for this purpose. Now let us think about the Material & accessories required for construction in the following Paras. The frat requirement for construction is ,perhaps,Wood.For this we have to look for good Trees.as far as Trees are concerned it is said that Trres in the compound of Temples & Gardens should not be used.similarly trees in Funeral grounds& Ashramams. Should not be considered for felling.Again Trees on which a honeybees have made their nests should not be considered.for this matter Trees with holes in it too are to be discarded.Trees with thorns on it or treed which produce milk like Rubber Trees should be avoided totally. The trees should be considered for felling only after conducting a Poja to please them and the Birds,insects & so called "Devathas" [ For example a Yakshi if such a death exists].The pooja is to be conducted during Night giving sufficient time for the birds,or insects or Devathas to escape from the Tree.so the Tree is to be felled only next day or any day thereafter.When finally if the Tree felled is not broken during the process & in fact fell in the direction of North or East such Trees are considered The best.all the other remaining6 directions are to be considered as Bad Omen The above conditions are applicable to God believing People alone & never for Contractor believing People!! The other requirements are thick metal wires,Metal wires, Cement,Sand& all similar Building Meterials. These are best to be got from Market as it is the best way instead of trying to make on one's own.this ,perhaps,is next to impossible too!as regards this kind of material there are Two kinds of markets & dealers.1) everything available with shops and who sell brand New items2) Those who collect all Building materials from demolished houses in which case the prices would be much cheaper. Selection of comparatively good material depends upon the owner.as generally these matters are not within the Purview of lay people it is always better to entrust the works to a Lea Ned contractor or supplier. Just one matter of importance is the constuction of PILE FOUNDATION for the house.Maximum care should be taken in this matter as otherwise there won't be much of a chance of staying in the proposed house, flat or Villa!!! As the remaining factors relating to construction of a house is a matter coming within the discretion& purview of the Mechanical ,civil,Electrical or an Electronic Engineer for the purpose of entertaining devices& home appliances,the matter is to be left to them without much interference from the owner if a good. flat,Villa, Bungalow or House is in your Dream.the basic factors only discussed here. The other matters are of far reaching theories & technologies for which the Owners should approach qualified Engineers of their respective Areas. TEAM INDIA IN AUSRALIA

This time the tour of Ustralia began with an unusual routine.the said to be THRIMURTYs & Few good Players were sent to Australia earlier than Usual with a view to getting them used to Australian Pitches. When the First Test at Melbourne started at Melbourne it looked as if the Idea of sending Players had worked well in favour of India.the bowlers did a good Job initially restricting the Australians to a modest Total on Board.then the start from the Indians in the first Innings made an impression that the Test had turned in favour of India!.but Alas!at the crucial point of the Game the Indian Batsmen including the veteran THRIMURTHIs showed their true color as it used to be in the past.net outcome was that India could not even overcome resistance from Australia& could not take a lead on a modest score from them. Final result was miserable .Attest match which was in our Grip gradually slipped from the Hands of Team India .Australia as usual won again a Test Match started on a Boxing Day sticking to their usual Convention! The loss for India was not merely Miserable but turned out to be an Opportunity Lost to post a win on a Boxing Day Test following a dream shattering to win a first ever Test series in Australia as well.!!! This loss again posed as bigger loss when the second Test at Sydney also lost ruling out the chances of recapturing the Lost glory of the First Rank in Test cricket.the First Rank was lost to England with yet another Miserable tour of that country earlier. But this loss was loss in default which had some indirect relation to Weather also which favored the Hosts in the form of Rain. Any way what all happened can not be Unhappened!!What is done can not be undone!! Now the chief of Selector Shri Sreekanth has come out with an explanation saying that no one should blame Dhoni for the miserable outcome at Australia& it was basically the mistakes of all Batsmen in general.He also said the Team India would come back to win Tests at Perth& the last Test at Adlaide. Sorry I am or I was until yesterday a strong Supporter of Team India who won the World Cup on 2nd April 2011 at Wankhedes the home ground of SachinTendulkar& which I believed as my Home Ground too in the past!!!. Now I am forced to comment on the claims of the chief Selector Sreekanth on two aspects.1) for his Optimistic belief&2)on his failure to include Irfan Pathan an all rounder in the Team for Tests in Australia after having brought him back in the Team against West Indies when he showed his calibre to the satisfaction of everyone. Fist of all no one as far as I know had Blamed Dhoni.but everyone would be tempted to blame Shri. Sreekanth.for not including Irfan Pathan in the Team he was the Best for Australia both with Bat & Ball.Why was he not included?Have you any explanation to offer Mr.Sreekanth for your miserable Lapse? Why did you give an opportunity to make delibrate and disappointing remarks from your Partner the Veteran Sunil Gavaskar to the effect that this Indian Team could never win a series at Australia?have you any explanation with you to offer in this regard?If so please come forward with it. Gradually the the generation started changing. People started ably making Money,independent Houses,Independent Property and about luxuries of Life. They also thought about affording more expenses to afford more luxurios life . Exploring various possibilities of making more Moneyk& acquiring Power entered first into the head of People. So they started finding ways & means to gather more money & more Power. In the last 150 years the maximum increase of Temperature on Earth occurred in the last 11 years ie from1997to2007. The Maximum Temperature was in the year 2007. The Elmino formed in the Pacific Ocean was the reason for this Phenomenon.the Days of the Polar Area where Snow is always present until now would soon become free of snow.The Ice formation in the Artic area of Earth is being reduced. Thus the area which is Ice protector for Earth is being reduced by 8% every year. In the Antartic Area in the last 5 years,13,000sqKM Ocean Ice melted into water. Again,in the Artic Area125 Lakes disappeared. According to UN Environment Report,by the year 2035, th entir ice in Himalayas would melt into water. The Ice mountain discovered at a height of5600 meters by Chinese Scientists in 2002 has disappeared in 2005. The Tibetan Ice Collection too is being melted rapidlyApart from the above Phenomenon of Increasing Temperature,the Sea too is becoming Frocious&rough day by day The loss of natural protection to earth in the form of Ice& Ice mountain would mean total drastic change in the Global climate This also would indicate the rapid rise in the sea level & as a result many lower lying areas would go underneath the Sea. According to I.P.C.C Reportin the year 2100 ,the Global Sea level would rise by 77 centimeters As the amount of Carbon dioxide accumulated & taken by sea unwillingly has turned Seawater gradually into Acid The net result is the Pearl gardens underneath Sea&her loss of lives of fish& other living objects protected by her all along.all put together the time is rapidly progressing by incurring the wrath of the Sea& would indirectly result in the total destoyal of Earth in another 90 years. Thus ,the severe Temperature occurring to Earth rapidly would start showing it's effect soon on Human beings. So long as the Death of Earth is not hastened by occurrence in the Form of Earthquake& T-Sunamis,the Human beings could feel safe. The views of opposition Leader to the effect that Government is trying to stall the Project Metro appears to to be false & unwarranted wrong allegation
The Idea behind the allegation is perhaps to influence people of Kerala in favour of the Party he represents because such a gimmick was successful during assembly Election.the allegation made then was about a former minister which was there for decades.but this time the court with fabricated evidence presumably accepted the views & punished the Minister for one year Jail Term
But though this Gimmick could secure 68 seats by misleading the people,the Opposition could not retain Power.
As soon as New Govt came to Power the imprisoned Minister was released using discretional Power vested on State.the Opposition Govt earlier had released even criminals with stronger crimes.so the court rejected the appeal of releasing the minister
This tactics will not be successful now in respect of Kochi Metro,as the facts are well known to the educated people of Kerala.
The present CM has clearly approved the need for the services of Shri.E.sreedharan.But whether Sri.Sreedharan approves the request is to be known only after the discussion scheduled for 12 th January.
His being not in Good health & his age of 79 years might pose problems for him.so it is for him to decide whether to head the Kochi Metro Project or not
As regard KMRL taking over the Project DMRChas not disapproved.In fact DMRC is still continuing to do their work over OVERBRIDGE at Kaloor.
The Speciality of the Project for trying Maglev Trains for the Project does not appear to be necessary as the distance to be covered is just 25 KM.the MagLev technology is required for Long distance Trains alone .the Rajdhani Express now takes 5 hrs almost to cover the distance from EKM to TVM.The Maglev Train if introduced this distance could have covered ,being fastest Trains in the World ,in about 8 to 9 minutes.
So to be precise ,this kind of Technology which require enormous amount of Many Crore of Rupees is not required for Kochi Metro instead should be thought of Long distance Trains alone & that too by the Railways of India & not KMRL or DMRC.
But this does not mean that the Services of Shri E? Sreedharan Is not required ! Of course his services is a must as he is Expert with Bridges & Tunnels and any other technical matter connected with Railway Projects.The evidence for this is in front of us in the Form of Konkan Railways& Dehi Metro Projects.

So no meaning whatsoever false allegations made by the Opposition Leader & the Left Party Stewarts.
This kind of Gimmicks will not be listened again by the people of The God' s Own country again.
If the Opposition is so sincere about Kochi what were they doing in last 5 years when they were in Power in regard to SMART CITY& KOCHI METRO Projects?
Those days as the chief whip of the Kerala Assembly says,the Party& concerned people were busy as usual in making money for the Party & it's individuals wherever it was possible.
So first the Opposition will have to conince the Chief Whip & the Ruling Front before trying again to pow ders of all kinds in the eyes of People of Kerala.

This morning they continued with the Bat efficiently making quick runs.Unfortunately for himself& India Gambhir departed after a contribution of 83 valuable runs unlike his Delhi Partner who miserably failed with just 4 Runs by playing an Outswinger on .The same mistake he always used to commit particulary against Steyn of SA was repeated here too in this crucial Match in which his Motherland was in total trouble! Laxman joined his usual partner in scoring to prove his name worth of mentioning Very Very Special!and did well well until Lunch with a fair contribution of 40 quick runs.if this scoring Pair of Players continue at least until Tea,it is possible to to strenghthen the probability to positive percentage soon! The Constitution of India contains many Articles which have been framed after careful thought to the need of a Government in A Nation which believes in Democracy.every Article in Constitution of India is of important Nature. The constitution itself is sufficient to protect a Nation from Corruption if the people read & understood it.No separate bill is needed to fight corruption.but criminals are those who violate provisions of Constitution or those who follow their own rule & constitution.there are many organizations in this Nation to punish corruption if detected. No Nation can anticipate or be sure of Corruption in a Democracy.if someone anticipate such a thing on his own he is corrupted.So there is no meaning in a Seperate bill for the purpose. There are various provisions in Constitution which could be used to arrest corruption. Besides there are Lawa & Regulations to punish corruption.even if such a Bill is passed & made an act byParliament what purpose would it serve when such a Bill & its provisions are again dealt with by Human Beings.Can't they corrupt the Lokpal Bill if they decides to do so? So,the Gandhian& his followers should first read constitution& try to understand it. It is not as easy as eating some food.It needs Patience, Caution& above some capability to understand if one has to grasp constitution.The present people who cry foul on Lokpal Bill are not capable of even reading a fiction & understand it. So without Patience ,just one fine morning go with some people with the help of a few Flags & Placards can not produce Lokpal Bill. This reminds me a song "Dance!!Dance dance Dance dancing Dance" from Hindi Movie of yesteryear Viz " DANCE DANCE"all the songs of the film were Superhits those Days. The song is Still available on U-Tube. One can hear it by opting for search quoting the name of Song& the name of the Movie. Now coming to the point,the Dance from Sreemathy Teacher in the CPM function at THRISSUR was criticized by top leaders including the Polit bureau member Kodiyeri Balakrishnan who was the chief Guest in the meeting.But no action was proposed against the Defaulting former Minister! Hence everything depends.
If Keralites are lucky ,perhaps we could get the experience of Maglev trains running above track level using the levitation theory of magnetic energy.
He is the person who could bring this technology of Fast running Bullet trains to India.
But not an easy task.depends upon many factors.

The Team India who had won the World Cup at Wankhedes on 2 nd April 2011 faced many disagree thereafter even cutting Very sorry figures in front of the World & CricketPlayingvNations Nations.India even lost their First Rank in Test Cricket with the Tour of England recently.I thought it was owing to the trick of nature & weather which played Spolsport constantly in favour of England!. But the recent performance at Melbourne convinced the fact that even under favorable conditions also India can not force a win. By rising to the occasion.the Bats men failed miserably despite The Bowlers arranging a most favorable situation to win! Even the veteran THRIMURTHYs of Test Cricket miserably failed at Melbourne and here where the Venue is stated to be favoring Indians. Had India won an easy Match at Melbourne ,this debacle here could have been avoided to some extent as the Aussies would not have played with so much of courage under Pressure. Cricket is a Glorious Game of Uncertainty in which many factors come into Play.sometimes the Game would look even like a Gamblers Paradise!.Many matches were won by many Teams just with the Help of Luck alone without an element of Skill. But Basically the Game is of Skill as has been proved beyond Doubt by the West Indies& Australia for decades.There was no better Team than West Indies under Rohan Kanhai,Clive Llyod,Vivian Richards and such veterans of WI.That is how they won the first three editions of World cup from 1975. All people who know TVM City know that the Flood & other problems of TVM were occurring,especially Flood as a result of neglect from Various governments came into Power by turn in every 5 years& of course due to the unstable arrangements from the city corporations. The corporations has to listen also to the views of the changing Governments every 5 years.their hands were tied without rope by the Party Leaders & the rulers every 5 years. In fact Fllod in TVM had always been due to manmade decisions from the Govt & corporations. A Report Appeared in KeralaKaumudi of 3rd January In an article Viz"PRALAYAM MANUSHYA SRISHTIYAKUMBOL"throw a rigt light into the picture of the conditions &reasons for the deterioration of the roads & basic reason for Fllod in the city. The Govt & Ministry representatives were very safe because no one can pinpoint the lapse as a New Govt can always put the blame on previous Government.this has been the story of TVM in turn since a very long time. The Corporation too followed the same procedure of the Govt. In short the City was always in a state of uncertainty because neither Govt nor Corporation took real interest as they could always save their skins by passing on the Blame each other. This hide& seek game of Govts& Corporation were going on just under the noses of the people of TVM City.They too did not bother because of fear& generally people believed and acted as if they are interested in peaceful& joyful life alone. No one had time in the City to bother about the Por & untrodden even though Parties climbing to be belonging to Poor people alo ruled the city many times.This is not the situation in other Cities of the Country.In THRISSUR City still water goes away shortly after rains because no one interfered with the setup of Thekkinkaadu Maidan,perhaps fearing the Wrath of Vadakkumnathan & the Conding of THRISSUR Pooram.but no one app eras to have bothered with the wrath of AnanthaPadmanabhan& Ananthasayanam though all are bothered about the NIDHI underneath the Great Temple including the neighboring TN Government!!!. It is believed that in olden days TVM City used to be one where the dirt in the Streets were washed out by rain whenever a shower occurred & within minutes the water used to get drained after rain.never a Fllod occurred in TVM city in olden years. New constuctions & so called developments later on prevented even rain from doing it' noble deeds to the city by men ruled there. In the name of Development the political leaders,officials& members who ruled made their pockets richer without bothering for Poor. The result .the City never improved but instead deteriorated beyond recognition. A typical instance of neglect was the Poonthi Road in KUMARAPURAM which remained without repairs for decades!The cable companies which were dogging the road even started growing Plants were digging was going to indicate the dangerous areas were accidents were possible.the plants also growing rapidly indicated to every pedestrians the in the near future the road was not going to get repaired. This Road was one of the most useful Roads connecting the famous Chitra Hospital.Kim Hospital, the Airport& Highway to the City. The Thampanur Railway Station area of TVM CENTRAL Station always remained Flodded during monsoon & whenever rain poured in. Thus in a year just three months were free from flood in TVM. The CM of Kerala yesterda by paying a visit to karimadham colony announced an immediate relief of Rs 5 CRORES to people suffered from the damages due to flood occurred in the New year Rains. The estimated cost of damages to the District was estimated at Rs20 CRORES the majority of the amount in respect of the City alone.In the city of TVM alone 5 people were killed,20 housed totally damaged& 1250 people are stated to be staying in emergency relief Camps! In the district of Thiruvananthapuram1640 houses were destroyed178 totally& 1462 partially. In the circumstances,it is time for the people & rulers of the City& District to wake up & start thinking about the about the future of the City& the welfare of the people belonging to the City& the Districts. Apart from Thiruvananthapuram puram & Idukki there are many more districts in the state the fate of which would come to light when the nature decides to strike at her convenience! The APEX COURT EXPERT COMMITTEE has agreed in principle to have a new Dam in Mullapperyar after making the people of IduKki happier & removing the Democle's Sword hanging over their Heads. The contention of Tamil Naadu was considered only on one aspect about continous sharing of water from The Dam.a decision & terms of the agreement as & when decided would be worked out later! As regards the petition from Kerala to limit the water level to 120 feet was not approved in toto as the order from Supreme Court to maintain Status quo is in force.unless the Apex Court vacates the stay order on Status quo the committee is not empowered to make any change. The decision on water sharing was never disputed by Kerala in the past at any time,though perhaps the sharing contract should have been scrapped long ago when neither TN norbKerala states were in existence.after for Marion of Linguistic states,the first Govt ofvKerala should have thought about scrapping the contract.this was not done then.neither any Govt bothered to think about it later!So the contract concluded Moore than 100. Years between a ruler's representative one Mr.Iyyengar & a British official was continued! This was a mistake for which no use of crying over Spilt Milk now.the obvious reason no one bothered was all Political Leaders from very old days got land allotted in Theni District of TN & still they or their kins enjoy thevbenefit from it. The reason the private Rich Cable& Electronic Company had cables laid there.but recentlybafter the present Govt came to power the road was repaired on Priority Basis be cause it is a busy road with access to KIM Hospital,Shri Chitra Hospital & important points tin the City including MG Road& Airport via Highway which spreads to the central & north Malabar.
