A new cricket facility in America is coming up this week at Indianapolis,Indiana.
The tournament is to be held between 3rd May 2015& 10th May2015 at the new world Sport Park,Indianapolis.
This tournament is named 2015 iCC Americas Division One T20.
This will be the first chance To showcase a high classCricket Tournament at the $6Million facility after the city
terminated a three year hosting agreement for the USACA(United states of America Cricket Association) National
Championship last May.
While this tournament is likely to take place almost certainly,This decision is a big blowto the long term

violability for cricket at Central BrowardRegional Park at Lauderhil,FLORIDA.The $70Million Stadium& Park Facility
had hosted the previous two ICC. Americas Division OneT20 tournaments in 2011& 2013 but a lack of consistent
Cricket Fixtures at the Facility has meant that the local authorities have sought to rent out the space for more to

other Sports like Soccer& American Football.According to Broward county Parks& Recreation Officials FC Barcelona
has reserved the facility for more than 200 days in 2014& 2015 for a series of development facilitities
So here comes a chance for Indianapolis to host the proposed tournament this week.
Besides USA,In this Pepsi ICC America T20 tournament to be held in Indianapolis from 3rd May to 10th May,Bermuda,
Canada,& Suriname would take part.
This is a vital tournament for the development for the cricketers ofvthe region of USA besides,Canada,Bermuda&
Suriname.The top TWO ranked teams would qualify& would be promoted to the 2015 ICCWorld T20 qualifiers(For the 2016
ICC World T20) To be held in Ireland& Scotland between9th July and 11th August2015

On the first day of the tournament at Indinapolis,today USA defeated Bermuda By 5 Wickets,thanks to Fahad Babar who scored 78 from 54 balls tobfind themselves home earningbthe precious 2 points on the first day.

Canada wo played against Suriname won the other match by 62 runs taking 2points with them.
Tomorrow Morning USA meets Suriname & Canada play against Bermuda
On the second day of the ICC America T20 tournament qualifiers,USA& CANADA
ReplyDeleteREPEATED THEIR PERFORMANCE OF VICTORY OVER Suriname& Bermuda respectively & 2 points more taking the tallyto 4 points each to lead in the tournament.
On the 3rd day today(tuesdaay) USA was beaten by Canada.Canada on 6 points now whereas USAat 4 points ,Bermuda after beating Suriname collected 2 points.

USA will have to beat Bermudavin next match as the Runrate of Bermuda is better than USA.so if Bermuda beats USA,they could be in par with USA with higher run rate.
The tournament thus gather momentum though Canada looks safe.

Bermuda had never defeated USA in a T20 match of ICC America tournament anyntime before
ReplyDeleteThevclosest they had come was when in the inaugural match in 2010 which was their first encounter which USA won comfortably by 2 wickets whenUSA was facing a target of 138.
Recently,however they defeated Suriname with a big margin which brought them better in run rate as compared to USA.So they now say that in the match with USA today(( Thursday) they could win..USA on the other hand preferred silence to boasting.Let us see what the final outcome today.The fact is that the USA has 2 good bats RCA able of making big scores.
However,being cricket let us reserve our view until the match is over.

In the IccZAmerica T20 tournament. Being played at Indianapolis to determine the two top teams to take part in the qualifier at Ireland/ Scotland in July 2015,,the USA today defeated Bermuda in a comfortable manner.With this win USA almost ensure their entry to the next stage at Ireland/ Scotland.

With this the lead of USA is 3-1 whereas Bermuda is 1-3
If USA win next match against Suriname their entry to Ireland/ Scotland is ensured.
In normal circumstances a win over Suriname is almost a cakewalk.Suriname is yet to win a match
Canada already ensured a spot in the top 2 places.

As expected in a match between USA& Suriname today in the ICC America t20 qualifier at Indianopolis ,USA defeated Suriname by 8 wickets to clinch a spot in the next qualifier at the Ireland/ Scotland schedule.
