The Hot air Balloon is the oldest human carrying Flight Technology existing in the world.The first unthethered
manned Hot air flight was performed by Jean- FrancoisPilatreEd de Rozier and Laurent d'Arlandes on November21,1783
in Paris, France in a Balloon created by the Montgolfierbrothers.Hot Air Balloons that can be propelled through
the air rather than simply drifting with the wind is known as Thermal Airships.
A hot air balloon consists of a bag called the Envelope that is capable of containing Hot Air.
Suspended beneath is a Gondola or Wicker Basket(in some long distance or high- altitude Balloons ,a Capsule),which
carries passengers and( usually)a source of heat,in most cases an open Flame.The heated air inside the Envelope
makes it buoyant since it has lower density than the relatively cold air outside the Envelope.As with all aircrafts,Hot air Balloons can not fly beyond the atmosphere.Unlike Gas Balloons,the Envelopes Does not have to be
sealed at the bottom since the air near the bottom is at the same pressure as at the surroundings.
For the modern Sport Balloons,The Envelope is generally made of Nylon Fabrics and the inlet of the Balloon(Closest
to the burner flame) is made from the fire resistant material known as Nomex.
Beginning during the mid-1970s,Balloon envelopes have been made in all kinds of shapes such as rocket ships and
the shapes of various commercial products,though the traditional Shapes remain popular For most non commercial
and Many commercial,applications.

people float with breeze several hundred meteres in the air.It is said that one would not feel The sensation

The launch site is determined by the Weather on the morning and the Hot air Balloons are inflated using a giant
portable fan ,before the burner is turned on and the basket is tipped intoban upright position.then it is the time
to clamber into the Wicker Basket and gently rise,as the burner heats their inside the balloon.

One could hear little sound from the awakening world below and one is on the path of most peaceful drifting full
of imperturbability and peace.
The silence is broken only when the blast from the propane burner heating the air inside the Balloon to keep one
cruising across the skies for longer.
One could watch the sun bursting from the Horizon and paint the sky pink in a spectacular morning sunrise.
One's destination remains a mystery till the final touch down
One surrenders the control and is taken in the direction of the wind.

ReplyDeleteThe errors are partly due to my lack of carefulness while typing and partly as result of the auto spelling process provided in the modern cell phones & iPads.
Why the mobile & iPad manufacturing companies do not think about eliminating these uncalled for errors is unknown to me.Perhaps,there could be some drawbacks existing in the earlier form of these devices.
Anyhow,it is not a very serious matter of concern so long as people are careful to type without producing errors
