It has become a hot topic for sometimes about the retirement of Sachin from International cricket
He is the just one Cricketer who brought all the fame & records for India in cricket.
Recently ,fed up with criticism on his not retiring fom cricket,he had decided to quit from one day cricket .
As he could block the critics with his bat speaking, for some time there was no hue& cry about the need for his retirement.
But again ,now one most celebrated cricketer of Australia Steve Waugh has come up with the demand for Sachin's retirement.
It is immaterial for the former successful captain of Australia to revive the issue now again.
One can not relish the motive behind Steve Waugh publicly demanding the need for Sachin to quit. That too when Sachin is to create a new permanent record of playing 200 Tests. He has already completed 198 Test matches.
The veteran cricketers, Vivian Richards,Sunil Gavaskar, Rahul Dravid & many more have time& Again stated that Sachin should not be forced to retire& should be allowed to decide on his own when to quit cricket on International level.
Why Steve Waugh is interested now is vague. He is not going to gain the least way from /Sachin's retirement.
Sachin is still good at the game.
Recently along with Ricky Ponting as his partner Sachin had paved way for the win of Mumbai Indians in the
IPL FORMAT. HE had a few glorious sixes & Fours to shut down the critics.
Why all of a sudden a person of high value Steve Waugh has come up with the hue& cry for Sachin's retirement rather amounts to mistery.
Why Steve Waugh is feeling this way against Tendulkar?is it because the Australian Prime minister selected him
For the prestigious award of " Order of Australia " which is exclusively meant for the Australians?or is it because Sachin was instrumental in the recent white wash in Test cricket forced on Australia?
Anyways, allow him to play yet another 2 more Test matches.he has not even attained the age of 40 years.
Allow him peace of mind.even this 198 Test matches he had played would remain as a record for a very long time
Or rather for many generations to come.but allow him to fulfill his wish of playing 200 Test Matches.

ReplyDeleteIs there any other factor that could prevent SRT from continuing?
Mathew Haiden, one of the greatest of Australian Cricket has said that Sachin is the Don Bradman of Indian Cricket.A was statue of Sachin was erected in the Sydney Stadium recently.this statue is later on to be shifted to one of the greatest Museums in Sydney.
