The butterflies are the loveliest creations of nature.Their life generally is short.but within this short period of life they conquer the minds of human beings by their nature & beauty. They reflect all the colors of a beautiful Rainbow.kids run after butterflies to catch them but seldom successful because of the way in which they fly surrounding the kids as though they are mocking at them.but their beautiful wings further attract kids who continue to run after them ignoring the earlier failures.suddenly they disappear into a thin forest or the backside of a plant & keep themselves hidden despite repeated efforts from kid to find them. This hide& seek process continue for hours.sometimes when the kids are frustrated & start to go back home ,the hidden butterfly come out as if to prevent the kids from returning home. This game continue until either the kids or butterflies get totally tired.this kind of hide& seek games are regular feature in villages.but in cities usually Butterflies do not get space to fly around.kids are also otherwise busy with cartoons on TV or comic books and movies like Harry Potter,spiderman ,Ben Ten& Batman. So much close & cute is the relationship with kids & butterflies and because of this the parents & grown up people also get themselves involved with butterflies .Their pleasing colors ,contrast & diversity in it make everyone take genuine interest in them and looking at them with acute & minute curiosity. Thus the tiny butterflies attract the life of Human beings to a very large extent inspite of their short span of life. Butterflies are the Marvels of the World. Children should adore it & learn a lot from their habit& behavior. Sreedharan

Everyone in this world likes Birds,Flowers & Butterflies.Perhaps,the obvious reasons might be their colorful appearance&innocent nature.Kids are more fond of these. Here are a few beautiful Birds found from the Internet. The African crowned cranes African crowned Cranes ,though not very colorful,are to some extent strange amusing Birds.The feathers on the neck behind head & it's general appearance makes it one of the beautiful birds in the world. American Kestrel American Kestrel is indeed A majestic bird in the falcon group but the body colors ,eyes& beak make it to the top list of Beautiful Birds in the world.It's beautiful blue feathers adds to it's beautiful nature Atlantic puffins The Atlantic Puffins are beautiful and so cute With their colorfulBeak& unique Body shape.The grey& white Feathers are so beautiful & perfectly matching their orange Beak& legs Baltimore Oriole The Baltimole Oriole belongs to The singing category of Birds.their songs are so nice to hear.They leave Bird watchers speechles with their song & matching & amazing black and orange colorful feathers& orange legs. Kingfisher The King Fisher is found all over the world where water is available.there arevdifferent species of thee birds but basically all are fish hunters.they are very fast in hunting fishes suitable to contain in their beak depending upon the size.very wise in selecting the fish variety. Found plenty near Indian canals& rivers.their amazing blue head feathers,orange body& orange legs made it a favorable bird of observers .it is a clever bird too. Lorikeet Loorikeets belong to the Parrots of tree.found plenty in India in different types. Beautiful for the amazing colts,eyes& peculiar beaks alone for Parrots. Indian Parrots are mostly in green color of their body.Adored all over the. World as a beautiful Bird. Northern Cardinal Northern Cardinal:this beautiful bird is perhaps the most vivid Variety With an outstandingly excellent Red Coat And a black bow tie around it's beak is a perfect example of how a bird could Look as perfect as it's name suggests. Painted Bunting Painted Bunting:This most beautifully painted multicolored bird is found in North America.One peculiarity about this attractive bird is that this colored outfit belongs only to the male bird.perhaps, a choice specially given to it to attract the Bird Lovers as well as their mates.no wonder how it found a place in the list of most outstanding birds. Peacock The peacock:The Peacock is the National Bird of India.it's colors on the feather is outstandingly attractive.there is a spot like the image of eye in their feathers.Peacock used to spread their feather when the rain and Lightning Is approaching. Considered to be a signal of Rain' arrival.But there are different versions to this belief.It is also said the Peacock dances to influence their mates.This version is more likely for real than the Rain & Lightning.any how undoubtedly this is one of the most beautiful birds. Though a bird, it can not fly long distances. Scarlet Macaw Scarlet Macaw: This is also a Multicolored well designed beautiful bird like Parrots.It has a long colored tail .resembles Parrots in many respects.This in fact belongs to the Parrot Family.found in Plenty in Honduras& is also their National bird.found in the Forests of India in many states.it is also called " Panchavarnakkili" in Malayalam as it has 5 prominent colors.it is such a Parrot all bird lovers would like to have in their homes as pets. Like the Indian Parrots ,these parrots can be trained to talk languages. No wonder why it has a prominent place in the list of Prominent birds in the World. We have now seen 10 beautiful birds.out of this 4 are found in India. They are 1) The Peacock,2)the Kingfisher,3)the Scarlet Macaw& 4)Lorikeets There are many more beautiful birds all over the world. It is ,however,very difficult to account for all of them. Kids would certainly love to watch the pictures of Birds,Flowers& Butterflies. The field of Butterflies is an enormous field to find huge variety of colors. Though Butterflies have short life span,the time they live they entertain human beings in immense mesures. Mannarkkadu Town in Palakkadu District-A place of Historical Importance

The Mannarkkadu Town in Palakkadu district of Kerala is well known for many historical happenings& events. Mannarkkadu is the headquarters of Mannarkkadu Taluk.This Taluk is famous for it's contributing Revenue to the State Exchequer. Mannarkkadu is situated in the National Highway 213 from Palakkad Town to Kozhikode.It is in the foothills of the Western Ghats .Mannarkkadu is verY near to the Famous Historical Place called Silent Valley. Mannarkkadu has the memory of Tipu Sultan Invasion in the minds of Old Generation of the Placce.Hundreds of people had lost life during the notorious riots of 1921. The famous Malayalam Novel "PONNI" which was written by famous Novelist Malayattoor Ramakrishnan which later on transformed into a famous Movie was based on the Forests of the area. The place " shiruvani Forests" in Mannarkkadu is stated to have been used as a shelter by notorious Sandalwood Smuggler Veerappan ,who was later on killed in encounter with Police. The population of Mannarkkadu is around 2 lakhs.This town is very famous for Agribased Economy of the State of Kerala. The main agricultural produce consists of Natural Rubber,coconut,Aricanut,Banana,Plantain,Pepper& Rice.These produce fetch maximum revenue for the State.But as a result of extravagant use of Chemicals,the Natural Ecosystem is being affected adversely. However ,owing to efforts to control the use of chemicals during the last decade in the area by the Government & Social Organizations,the situations in regard to the population of Extinct Reptiles,Butterflies,Freshwater fish & such species have since been revived to a very large Extent. Mannarkkadu ,from time immemorial had attracted immigrants fro all over India to the town.As a result the people Here are an amazing collection of population speaking different languages,Malayalam,Tamil,Kannada including Telugu& Less famous Tulu also. This diversity& contrast has indeed Developed multiple cultures in this small town. Situated between two famous rivers Kuntipuzha& Nellipuzha Mannarkkadu is very famous for it's natural beauty also.Silent Valley Rain Forest& Attappadi High Range adds to contribute more to the beauty of the Town. I had an opportunity to visit this place of Attapadi& Mannarkkadu during my college days when my elder brother , who is in his heavily abode now was working there as a Teacher there& a media report that a more widened Fly over of modern facilities is likely to come up there shortly,prompted me to write this Blog on this Town. It is understood that the PWD minister is scheduled to lay the foundation stone for this Fly Over on the 7th of May 2013.The cost of the project is estimated to be RS9 Crores to be spent from the funds available to the present MLA of the Area.it also said that the MP Of Palakkadu had called a Press conference sometime back to announce the project being funded from his funds at 16.5 crores which later on was denied by the Central Government. The project which was thus in "Thrisanku Swargam " is being revived now much to the relief of the people of Mannarkkadu as they are likely to get a connecting Fly Over between their Town& the Western parts of Kerals Let us hope the Fly Over becomes a reality in due course without being tied in Red Tape due to reluctance on the part of Officials in moving papers from one office to another. Cheteswar Poojara& Rohit sharma

The two Indian batsmen of today are Cheteswar Poojara& Rohit Sharma. Both are equally good from the Technical point of view after the days of great Sachin Tendulkar Sachin had an additional attraction that he was able to use the ball also as a recognized spinner. In the technical side of cricket Poojara& Rohit are experts in choosing the balls & punishing the Bowlers just the way Sachin used to do . Poojara is more useful for Test matches than Onedayers& T-20s The next Captain after M.s. Dhoni when he quits( he could certainly continue for another 3 more years until next World Cup is over) After he quits the best men suitable for Test cricket& ondayers(including the T-20) are respectively Cheteswar Poojara& Rohit Sharma. Virat Kohli is a fine batsman.But does not appear to be matured enough to lead the Indian team. He is much showy& interferes with the team mates every now & then even when the situation does not warrant it. A real Captain should not be a cause of embarrassment & confusion for the Team mates. Virat Kohli should remember this without showing his emotion every now & then. He used to give too much instructions to the other players even when such instructions are not really necessary. He should not frustrate teammates with instructions more than required. Today's Captaincy by Rohit Sharma was brilliant.His decision to give ball to Harbhajan in the first over was not a bad one though it backfired. The NewZealand Team on various occasions started even test matches by handing over New balls to Spinners& was successful also. So no point in blaming Rohit Sharma.in fact what he did was a good gesture to hand over the ball to a veteran Spinner Harbhajan. Finally it was Harbhajan who helped him to come out in Flying Colors after his exit at the crucial juncture. So one really good Captain should take things as it comes as good.what is good for one might be bad for others. The big black Spider& the lightning are my two nightmares since my childhood.I used to hate both.If I find a big spider with glowing amber eyes like a cat in darkness,I used to change the room to sleep for the rest of the night.The big Black Spiders of South India are a horrible sight.Even the small thin spiders hanging from the ceilings too are poisonous& dangerous.there are many Poisonous Spiders in India also especially in the Western Ghats where all species are said to be available in Plenty. Those who possess pictures of big Black Spiders of India are welcome to forward such pictures to me to make my collection of Poisonous Spiders richer. So hereunder,are some of the most poisonous Spiders in the World.Of course a horrible& dangerous sight. But it is rather fun to know more about them all over the World.hence this humble effort from me. Yellow Sac spider The Beautifulyello Spiders called Sac Spider are poisonous but less poisonous as compared to other varieties.They make dragline webs.They are ,however dangerous Fringed Ornamental Tarantula These Spiders are quite venomous Spiders.It's bite can cause Coma & eventual test depending upon the Quantity of poison injected into human body from their bites. Chinese bird spider The Chinese Bird Spider is very dangerous .It's legs are 8" large.These are found in South East Asia.Bites from it could cause death to Human binge.perhaps the largest of Poisonous Spiders in the World. Mouse spider The Mouse spiders are found in Australia.It's bite is generally known as dry bite.the Poison does not cause death to the Human beings. but could cause different ailments & is considered as dangerous. The Chinese Brown and chilean recluse spider These spiders are found in Chile.the BrownSpiders & Sisterspecies Chilean Spiders are dangerous.their bites could cause infection in the area of bite which is very difficult to get cured.Infection from their bites also found to be cause of Kidney Problems& often results in death of Human beings.Dangerous variet Redback spider Black widow black Widows are as dangerous as Redblack spiders mentioned above.These are extremely venomous.a bit could cause death.one peculiarity of these Spiders is that it eats it's mate as a matter of after sex Sydney funnel-web snack! Perhaps this could be the resin they are called Widows because they kill their partners& become herself a widow. Six eyed sand spider is most dangerous for it's venom.one bite is enough to cause death.but they live in areas where human beings are generally do not venture to visit.The poison of this spider is not only dangerous but no antivenom has been found for these so far.so no medical treatment possible if attacked.But these are not aggressive as many other varieties. The game today the 23rd April2013 at Bangalore,the home venue of RCB,prompted me to write this Blog. RCB naturally with high hope of winning over PWI(They are yet to be beaten in Bangalore) did so majestically after not winning Toss today.Pune warriors were lucky to win toss but elected,perhaps ,wrongly to field. But it can't be helped as every team has tendency to bowl first when the Gale of Cricket Chris Gayle is in the opposition with the hope that they could chase better than by batting first. But alas!their hopes were shattered by the Gale of Cricket once again to the pleasure spectators at Chinnaswamy Stadium. The current IPL season 6 going on in different venues are full of Surprises. The defeat of KKR at the Hands of Kings Punjab by 4 runs& Defeat of Pune Warriors at the hands ofsunrisers Hyderabad inspire of a low score are two instances of surprises. The general trend indicates on a particular day any Team could defeat any team irrespective of the Strength of the Players in it. At the moment a close analysis of the performance so far in respect of the teams is a fair indication that the following 4Teams are likely to be in the last 4 teams going to make a final fight for final berths in the tournament. They are 1) Royal Challengers Bangalore 2) Rajastan Royals,Jaipur,. 3) Chennai Super Kings,chennai 4) Mumbai Indians ,Bombay( Mumbai) The Indian Premier League(IPL) was initiated in India in 2008 by Shri Lalit Modi as a premier tournament of limited cricket's shortest version called T20.both Indian & players were associated with the League at a proportionate ratio of participants .Foreign Players were restricted in the numbers. After the first Season in 2008 ,the League gathered momentum & popularity. Then a stage had come that the Test version & smaller version of one Dayers become less poular. The first season was won by Rajastan Royal,Jaipur under the captaincy of Shane Warne. The Second season of 2009 was won by the then Deccan Chargers ,a team later on become defunct due to some critical problem with the owners. Later on however,this team was replaced this season as Sunrisers Hyderabad by the SunTV. The third& Fourth season of 2010& 2011 were won by chennai Super kings,Chennai. The Fifth Season last year was won by Shahrukh Khan's Kolkotta Knight Riders captained by Gautam Gambhir. This season the 6th is under progress with tuff competitions & full of Surprises. Any Team of the 9 could win the crown .But the most likely teams are as mentioned above taking into consideration close look at their performance until now.But today's performance from Chris Gayle gives indications that if Gayle continues this way,then there is no need to think about a different Champions in this Season6. In today' match the biggest hitter began like a real Storm or is it a Whirlwind? First he made the fastest Century in the history of IPL from 30 balls breaking the record of Andrew Symmonds of Australia. 98 runs of his century came from 11Sixes& 8 Fours. One free hit he got from a "NoBall" was converted into a Six by sending the ball out of the Chinnaswamy Stadium. This reminded me the greatest Captain of West Indies Clive Llyod who had made a similar Six when the ball was sent out of the Braboure Stadium of Bombay & fell into the Arabian Sea.The ball was never traced& the Test match had to continue with a substitute ball. The final score of Chris Gayle,who remained Not Out,was 175 with 17 Sixes& 13 Fours.This unparelleel knock enabled himto surpass the record of B.McCullum in the IPL. The final score of RCB was a formidable 263 for 5 wickets. Naturally Pune Warriors had just to complete the formality to surrender which they eventually did with just 133 runs on Board.THE RCB WON WITH A MARGIN OF 130 runs.but this was just second high margin win in IPL though I was hoping it to be the highest Margin.but the Statiticians at the IPL thought differently& correctly. Any how,the match was a big treat for the Spectators & is likely to have more& more in the coming days. The winners ,though likely to be the RCB taking into account today's match ,only time could judge the real winners.
