Jhony Jhony!Yes Papa!Eating sugar?NoPapa!
The title of this Blog might look silly.But No.This is a famous nursery song being sung almost everyday
in almost every family in the World.Then the question would arise as to why this Rhyme has come up in the
writing of a Blog?This is because the Blog writing is a modern Trend whereas the Nursery Rhyme belongs to
time immemorial.Then why these two are being linked here?Another question that could be put forward here.
Yes!It is because of the fact that the systems prevailing in certain part of the World is the reason.
Let me summarize it in very few words to make the point in question clearer.
There are different kinds of organizations & Political Parties all over the World with different kinds
Of names.Basically they all are one at the same.
The latest Trend in a Political party in one of the corners of the world is that they insist upon the
local Government to approve their local committee rules & regulations made according to their Party Constitution
should be implemented by the Government & included in the Regulations of the Police Department of the govern-
ment as such by registering case against the Police Department because Police registered case aga-
inst a Local Secretary for uttering Non-sense regarding Murder cases took place earler!!!
Am I justified now in affording a Title to my Blog as such arguments from one "Many" looks worth telling kids
studying in Nursery Classes.

"Anjanam", I know it is as white as Turmeric
The Title might need explanation.Anjanam is a kind of Black stone .If one claims that it is as white as Turmeric the basic meaning to be conveyed is that he doesnt know anything about anything.The reason:
Anjanam is Black in color.Turmeric is a substance with pure yellow color.So calling a black stone as white as Turmeric by comparing it to something with color of pure yellow is nothing but ignorance.
Though I am not a person interested in active Politics or following it regularly,I have an interest in discussions between eminent personalities that are being put on air by different TV channels of local origin.This is as good as watching the Presendential debates on TV channels while an ekection is likely to take place in US.
Recently ,I had an opportunity to watch a debate on a TV channel(I dont get such oportunity very often as I have tremendous amount of Domestic works to attend to)regarding the hike in respect of cost of Petrolieum
products,
The real reson for the hike is that the prices of crude oil went up in international market as a result of which
the Indian Petrolieum companies were forced to hike the domestic prices with a view to avoiding heavy loss to them.When the price of crude oil came down in the international market ,the Petrolieum Companies later on reduced the price correspondingly!
The discussions on this matter by different personalities were different ,controversial &opposit to one another.The Personalities incidently belonged to different Political parties in the habit of accusing each other.
The first gentleman who opened the discussion was very clever&fast in speaking.He resorted to the method of speaking very fast touching various aspects simultaneously without allowing time for the listners to analyze what he said .In other words the speaker himself was not aware of what he said.sometimes he justified the increase&simultaneously criticised the decision saying that it was impossing heavy burden on common man
and the rich people were not much affected because they coiuld afford to pay the hike without difficulty.But he appears to have conveniently forgotten the fact that there were extremely rich people in the party to which he belonged
The next gentleman who spoke, said he agreed to the fact that common man was affected but the party who spoke first also belmged to the commitee which took decision to hand over powers to the OPretrolieum companies to increase or decrease prices according to the fluctuations in the international market&why they did not reveal their reservations at that time,This second speaker did not prolong his discussion to punish those who attended to it.
The third gentleman who spoke last was also very clever by sticking to neutral view to save skin.He also did not punish the listeners for long.
Finally at the end of the discussion,there was nothing new emerged by leaving the matter as such where it started.For listeners it was more or less a waste of their precious time which could have been alternatively utilised for something useful
I am not sure &I dont think I have any business to know whether the speakers were being paid anything for the services they rendered to the channel
There is yet another branch of similar nature,It is the "Vaastusastra" .
All those who venture out for a new home are particular about resorting to proper "Vaastusastra" befpre starting construction of their home.They consult different experts&Astrologers to arrive at a proper decision in the matter.
But here in this matter also the opinion differ from person to person because they impart different versions of "Vaastusatra"
Finally ,the person who wish to own a Flat/Villa find it very difficult to reach at a solution.There are some persons who find that constucting a Flat/Villa is easier than arriving at a decision about "Vaastusaastra"As the exploitation in this field is sometimes unbearable ,there are many people who either postpone or even abandon their desire for a home.
To conclude,the trends on various matters prevailimg today leads to dipute&fighting among competitors
thereby leaving the commom man perplexed& blinking.
Incidently this reminds me reading somewhere what Sir Winston Churchil said almost 65 years ago before handing over Power to India on getting Independence.He said:-" Dont hand over power to Indians because they would fight among themselves for Power&destroy this Holy&beautiful country in the fiture"Yes! what the Indians are doing to day is nothing but proving every word of what Sir Winston Churchil had envisaged long ago.

SCRAPPING OF HIGHSCHOOL&VOCATIONAL HIGHERSECONDARY SCHOOL SYSTEM IN KERALA
The present Education Minister of Kerala had on 30th March2012suggested about dispensing with the present system of highschools &Vocational Higher Secondary system in the Kerala State&introducing a New system as per theFederal Govt right to Education Act.
This would if implemented(which is doubtful) will scrap the present well established time tested system of education prevailing in the State.
Under the provisions of the proposed system,Class 5 was to become Lower Primary,Class 8 onwards Primary system thereby leavingClass 9 &10 as isolated
So the solution to overcome the resistace caused by new introduction suggested by him was that the isolated classes could be brought under Higher secondary system.By doing like this ,the advantages according to the M inister was that it was a well thought measure to make vocational Education accessible to more students by making optional the subjects of the Higher secondary schools.He was sure to implement the changes by the year2013.
Easier said it. But difficlt to implement without the consent of Educational Wizards of Kerala and the ruling front with whom a comprehensive discussion would appear to be necessary before taking absolute decisions.
To make the picture clearer about the vocational system of higher secondary education an examination taking into account the Merits&demerits of the systen also in comparison withe system prevailing in the United States would appear to be necessary:-
THE PROPOSAL OF THE EDUCATION MINISTER IS TO IMPLEMENT VOCATIONAL SYSTEM IN 9TH&10TH STANDARDS.CURRENTLY THESE ARE IN 11TH&12TH STANDARDS.
HIS IDEAS SEEM TO BE CONCENTRATED ON BIASED VIEWS WITHOUT NECESSARY THOUGHT TO THE PROS&CONS OF THE SYSTEM.
THE MAIN ADVANTAGE OF THE FEDERAL SYSTEM OF VOCATIONAL EDUCATION IS THAT CERTAIN STUDENTS FROM LOWER INCOME GROUP WHO ARE LIKELY TO ENTER THE JOB MARKET EARLY, COULD DERIVE ADVANTAGE OF THE TRAINING FACILITIES AFFORDED TO THEM.
ON THE OTHER HAND, THOSE STUDENTS WHO DO NOT NEED EARLY JOB MAY LIKE TO
INCREASE THEIR VOCATIONAL SKILLS BY FOLLOWING TRADITIONAL PATH WITH A VIEW TO BETTRING THEIR VOCATIONAL SKILLS ARE UNLIKELY TO OPT FOR
GETTING EARLIER JOBS BY ENTERING JOB MARKETS.
LET US NOW COMPARE THE SYSTEM PREVAILING IN THE FEDERAL STATES OF USA&IN
INDIA.
IN USA,THERE IS A SYSTEM PREVAILING IN WHICH "STANDERDISED APTITUDE TEST" OR
POPULARLY CALLED "SCHOLASTIC APTITUDE TEST"(S A T)& THIS IS THE CRITERION TO
DECIDE SCORES WITH ACADEMIC&OTHER CREDENTIALS BY COLLEGES &UNIVERSITIES IN USA
THIS SYSTEM DOES NOT APPEAR TO BE POPULAR AND ACCEPTED IN INDIA BY STUDENTS UNLIKE USA
APART FROM THIS,THERE ARE OTHER CONCEPTS OF HOME SCHOOLING POPULAR IN THE UNITED STATES.IN THIS BRANCH PARENTS COULD EDUCATE THEIR KIDS AT HOME.THERE, A SET OF GUIDE LINES IS ALSO AVAILABLE FOR THE.STUDENTS.THEY CAN ALSO TAKE EXAMS AT HOME. FOR THIS THERE ARE STANDARDISED TESTS AT DIFFERENT STAGES IN ORDER TO DEMONSTRATE THEIR PROFICIENCY.

IN THE UNITED STATES ,THEY BEING A VAST NATION WITH LESS POPULATION WHO ARE MOSTLY RICH,&A LOT OF EXCESS LAND AVILABLE FOR DEVOLOPMENT,THEY COULD PLAN ANYTHING&IMPLEMENT IT EASILY.THERE, DISCIPLINE OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC IS SOMETHING OTHER NATIONS SHOULD APPRECIATE.

SO WE HAVE TO START EVERYTHING AFRESH FOR WHICH WIDE DISCUSSIONS AMONG PEOPLE'S REPRESENTATIVES&POLITICAL PARTIES WOULD APPEAR TO BE NECESSARY&A MUST.

ANY CONSTRAINT IN BETWEEN ENROLLING STUDENTS&PUTTING THEM TO AVAIL OF TRAINING FACILITIES COULD ,PERHAPS,HAMPER THE VERY PURPOSE ENVISAGED..

CARRYING WATER UNTIL NIGHT&BREAKING THECARRIER AT THE END
There is a saying of the subject sort in Malayalam..Exactly this is what SL did today.Until Final ,after a set back early in the CB Series,they generally did well to reach the final.where as India was deprived off their deserving berth in Final.
The lions, it looks,can only roar but can not kill when it matters most
As an insult to injury ,their capotain generally a good pplayer miserably flopped in the final&also fines half of his match fee for misbehaviour with umpire.Indian Skipper Dhoni too had argued with Umpire on genuine causeBut wasnt fined..As far as failure is concerned, all their stewarts like Dilshan ,Sangakkara all flopped as if they could never win a major final.The rare exception was when Aravind Desilva&Ranatunga won their only final of a WCagainst the same lucky OZ.
On the contrary the Australians despite all their mal practices with Bat &Ball when in Australia,always win .The luck always smile on them especially when it is played in Australia.
But here,unlike Perth,Adelide is a good batman's pitch where any Team could win.But the ASrilankans looks destined to be defeated as if defeat follows them lika a curse.
To be frank,though rather one who believes in sportsman spirit should not say so,the Aussies did not deserve this win for the sins they committed delibrately against the Indians in their penultimate league match against Honest Indians
But sometimes ,though rarely,the injustice too prevail.And this is one of such an occasions!
Hearty condolence for the Srilankans& best wishes for them against their neighbours as well as traditional rivals INDIA &PAKISTAN at Dhaka in tha ASIA CUPstarting from 11th of this month

The Great DEBACLE FOR THE AUSTRALIANS
The Aussies Should learn a lesson from this horrible defeat today for a former World Champions continuous ly for 3 WCs.
They may be defeated in the final Final also as the roaring Lions are next to impossible to tame.They deserve the
Defeat for the sins they committed against the Indians in their last but one league match where two decisions were
absolutely wrong.Had it been under the Captaincy of Adam Gilchrist,Allan Border or Steve Waugh such a sin would not
have emerged as the Trio are well known for their Sportsman spirit. especiallyAdam Gilchrist
Dhoni the skipper had clearly told in the media as well as to the umpires about the wrong decisions.But whatever he told
fell in Deaf ears.
All the Best to Sri Lankans& their opponents to perform at their best in the decider.See you Srilankans in the forthcoming
Asia Cup at Dhaka on 11th onwards.

RIVER LINK-A DAY DREAM
It seems that the Liver Link for which the Apex Court has Given a ruling ,controversial & unlike all earlier wise Judiciary decisions,the real factor that prevails is that the matter looks like a Day dream for many states
Including the Tamil Naadu in fulfilling their evil design to punish the neighboring state of KERALA
BY WAY OF THEIR OVERSMARTNESSAS IN THE CASE OF MULLAPERIYAR.
BUT THE FACTOR THAT NEED SYMPATHY TO THEIR DESIGN IS THAT NEITHER THEIR DREAM ON
MULLAPERIYAR NOR ON RIVER-LINKING IS GOING TO MATERILISE DUE TO THE FOLLOWING REASONS.
THIS PROPOSAL TO INTRODUCE THE RIVER- LINKING WAS ATTEMPTED BY THE NDA GOVERNMENT OF SOME TIME IN THE
PAST& DROPPED AS SUCH LIKING WAS LIKELY TO COST TO THE EXCHEQUER AN ENORMOUS SUM OF 5 LAKHS CRORES OF RUPEES
EVEN IF ALL THE STATES OF INDIA TOGETHER TRY THIS LINKING IS UNLIKELY TO MATERIALISE& ON THE CONTRARY LIKELY
TO END UP IN WASTE OF TIME OF EVERYONE INDULGED IN TRYING FOR IT.
THE DESIGN LLOKS NOT ONLY EVIL BUT FOOLISH TOO AS BOTH THE RIVERS THEY WISH TO GET UNDER THEIR CONTROL
ARE THE EXCLUSIVE PROPERTIES OF KERALA STATE ,THEY BEGIN IN KERALA TO FLOW& END IN KERALA.
APART FROM THIS THE ENORMOUS COST INVOLVED IN LINKING IS BEYOND THE CAPABILITY OF THE TN&EVEN IF THEY MANA
MANAGE TO ACHIEVE THE ENORMOUS COST,IN ONE STAGE OR OTHER THEY WILL HAVE TO ABANDON THEIR DESIGN& FOR
DOING THE DE-LINKING OF THE RIVERS THE COST INVOLVED WOULD BE DOUBLE THAT OF THE COST INCURRED IN
LINKING.
SO THE BEST OPTION LOOKS IS THAT IT WOULD BE DESIRABLE TO KEEP THEIR HANDS AWAY FROM KERALA,
A STATE WHICH HAS ENORMOUS AMOUNT OF EDUCATION& CAPABILITY OF UNDERSTANDING THINGS BETTER THAN TN
AND IN IMPLEMENTING THEIR WISE DECISIONS PROPERLY TO THE PERCEPTIVE OF THE MATTER.
A FUTILE EFFORT IS BETTER TO AVOID THAN TRYING TO EXECUTE.
